N\u00e4iteks pannil keedetud kala s\u00fc\u00fcakse kaugemalgi kui tavap\u00e4rane Peipsimaa piir ulatub.<\/p>\n<p>Peipsimaa on tuntud kalap\u00fc\u00fcgi ja sibulakasvatuse, uuemal ajal ka kurkide-tomatite ning muude k\u00f6\u00f6giviljade viljelemise poolest. Maa ei soosinud viljakasvatust, seega tuli leida alternatiiv. See oli ka \u00fcks viise, kuidas m\u00f5jutati eestlaste toidumaailma. Nimelt oli j\u00e4rve\u00e4\u00e4rne rahvas m\u00e4rksa altim erinevatele uuendustele, samal aja kui konservatiivsemal suurema maaga talupojal kulus selleks pikem aeg. Kasv\u00f5i marjadest keedetud nn punane kissell kogus populaarsust enne Peipsi \u00e4\u00e4res kui sisemaal. Kindlasti aitas niisuguste toiduuuenduste levimisele kaasa sibulakaubandus, sest sisemaal sibulaid vilja vastu vahetades r\u00e4\u00e4giti ka toidust.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-464  alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/visitpeipsi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/28552718604_b9b527a25f_o-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"345\" height=\"230\" \/>Peipsimaa toidulauale on iseloomulikud kalatoidud ja sibula kasutamine, k\u00f5ikv\u00f5imalikud pirukad ning rohke metsaandide kasutus.\u00a0 Hooajalisus on elu loomulik osa. Usklike jaoks t\u00e4hendas s\u00f6\u00f6mine ka kirikukalendri j\u00e4rgimist, sest paaste on eriti vanausulistel ju palju. See tingis ka men\u00fc\u00fc \u00fclima tervislikkuse. Peipsimaa l\u00f5unaosas m\u00f5jutab toidulauda enam setu traditsioon.<\/p>\n<p>Tervislikkust j\u00e4rgiti isegi teejoomise juures. Peeter I juurutatud teejoomise kultuuri peeti algul ebasobivaks, kuid hiljem ei takistanud see rituaali \u00fclev\u00f5tmist.
